Nelsie was extremely nice and accommodating to our family, probably one of the most attentive/involved hosts we've had. She was always responsive and helpful, gave us local tips, she knows pretty much everyone in the area, and she even was thoughtful with bringing us things! The house itself is very private and surroundings were great. The wifi was not good enough to work remotely there and would go completely out during the heavy rains, the pool is only available to you if her other listing does not have anyone staying there, the kitchen is detached from the main house, and there were considerable bugs, you are in the middle of wilderness so its somewhat expected to a degree, but she was very responsive in trying multiple things to mitigate.

Very peaceful. Even with a church and a Chinchorro near by it was very peaceful. Only thing that was a problem were the wasps. Which she fumigated before arrival and while we were there. Still there were more. Also the listing has a pool and there is no pool for that listing. The pool is in the other home. She did let us use it once the other guests left. Still was a bit awkward. She's very friendly and she does live on the premises. Take food if you don't want to leave once you arrive. Nothing is close by but well worth it. Other than that the home is a gem. Thank you for our beautiful stay.

We have been to PR before. While we love going to the beach, we like staying in the mountains. It's quiet and private here and no neighbor right on top of you or noisy roosters. So beautiful and we loved all the fun extras of this location...the river below the cabin where shrimp came to check out my feet. All the flowers. The swimming spot up the dirt road so beautiful and great for fishing, snorkeling or having a picnic. I was able to do 3 mile runs up and down that dirt road whereas I did not feel safe on the main mountain roads. We thought the cabin was rustic but clean. The walls don't go to the ceiling so we had to put the lights and sound off early to not disturb the kids. But we loved the detached kitchen so we could be up in the morning and not disturb anyone. We had all we needed and when I thought of a few things that we might like to borrow, nelsie was happy to help. She was the bonus of the stay. She is so friendly and helpful. Central spot to explore the West Coast.
