For the price, I don't think you can do better in midtown. I've stayed at virtually all the nearby hotels at one point or another - but the Gregorian stands out for just having a little bit more style and a lot more character - without losing the basics like great customer service and cleanliness. The location can't be beat - a quieter and cleaner street, just steps away from all the restaurants, bars, entertainment and transportation you might be looking for. There's also some really convenient grocery options if you are on a budget or staying longer term. This will definitely be my go-to for future trips.
