Piccolo gioiello in mezzo alla natura, circondato da boschi e animali selvatici, la casa è dotata di tutti i confort per trascorrere un soggiorno riposante. Con l'auto è possibile raggiungere le città e i paesi per i servizi, mentre i trekking sono subito a disposizione. Maria Cecilia e suo figlio Luigi sono stati veramente accoglienti e disponibili e ci hanno supportati sia nella gestione dell'abitazione, sia nei suggerimenti per le attività di svago. Abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni tranquilli, nonostante il brutto tempo siaml sempre riusciti a trovare qualcosa da fare. Consigliatissimo anche per famiglie (noi abbiamo una bimba di 2 anni che si è divertita moltissimo!)

We stayed at this house for a month, but could have easily stayed for a year. The house is so beautiful and very big. We had our two dogs with us and they loved the huge fully fenced yard where they could play and enjoy the sunshine. Luigi and Maria Cecilia were the consummate hosts who were so kind and wonderful. The property is so peaceful and private and the ultimate Italian country living. Amazing stocked kitchen, fast Wifi, and easy to use pellet stoves in the living area and main bedroom to warm those cool autumn nights. I cannot fully express how wonderful this house is and you should book it right away for as long as you can. The quaint town of Trestina is only a 15 minute drive with supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and a fresh pasta store (get the lasagne). We cannot wait to return to this wonderful home!

La casa è perfettamente organizzata e dotata di tutto (lenzuola, asciugamani, tovaglie, caffè, alcune cose per la colazione, prodotti repellenti per insetti …). Ha un portico con una vista sul bosco di rara bellezza. Si possono vedere le stelle e l’alba anche dalla camera da letto. A 6km (Trestina) abbiamo trovato un alimentari “il tino” e la “macelleria dell’allevatore” con prodotti di qualità ad ottimo prezzo. La casa è vicina solo ad altre due, nel silenzio assoluto, proprio come volevamo. Purtroppo, forse per ignoranza nostra, in questo periodo, con il caldo, la zona circostante era invasa di mosche cavalline che non ci hanno permesso di lasciare la macchina per una settimana e goderci le passeggiate nella zona o di goderci la sera con rilassatezza il giardino. Purtroppo la puntura di tafano dura anche diversi giorni. Questo nulla toglie alla casa che, da ottobre credo sia un posto magico.

Wir hatten im September und Oktober 2022 eine tolle Zeit im ‚Bargello‘. Die Lage, das Haus sowie das Petrelletal sind malerisch schön. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im 10 km entfernten Trestina. Etliche wirklich Tolle Restaurants gibt es in Entfernungen zwischen 5 km (Lugnano) und 20km (Citta di Castello). Unser Tipp: Volpelli in Calzolaro, vor allem zur Trüffelzeit!! Viele Umbrische Ziele (Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio etc.) oder toskanische Destinationen (Arezzo, Siena, San Gimignano, Florenz etc.) in 1-2h Umkreis. Wie jedes alte Haus hat auch das Bargello einige kleine Schwächen. Zum Beispiel ist das Mobiliar schon älter und statt einer Heizung sorgen 2 Pelletöfen für Wärme - wenn der Gast sich drum kümmert. Doch die Gastgeber Luigi und Maria Cecilia sind immer bereit zu helfen oder Tipps zu geben. Und ständig arbeiten sie daran das Haus noch wohnlicher und für den Gast angenehmer zu machen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen Bargello für jeden, der einen originellen, ländlichen und urigen Urlaub in touristisch kaum erschlossener umbrischer Umgebung erleben will!!
