At the time we booked Easter Balloan Cottage it didn’t have many reviews as it was new to Airbnb, but we needn’t have worried. This is a fabulous Airbnb. Shirley really went above and beyond to make this feel a real home from home. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.

I’m not exaggerating or hyperbolising when I say that this was the most peaceful, cosy, comfortable Airbnb that I have stayed at. You have the whole upper floor to yourself, and the windows look out onto surrounding fields, where you can see sheep and horses. The bed was insanely comfortable, with the softest sheets ever, the bathroom was pristine, and the added emergency toiletries were so helpful. There was also milk and little bits of food like butter and bread provided which I really appreciated. Shirley was so friendly and helpful, I really could not recommend this place more. Thank you Shirley for an incredible stay.

One of the best accomodations we've ever been to. lots of little details and even some food in the fridge. although it didn't say breakfast explicitly, there was more than enough available to prepare it. the rooms were so clean, you could have eaten from the floor :D Shirley seems to enjoy being a host and takes "the Job" very serious. view from the bedroom was amazing.

Shirleys cottage is the most perfect Highland bolthole - its an entire cosy flat with every special thought & touch that's lovingly gone into it. Shirley is so welcoming and keeps in touch by text as her home is separate downstairs. it is so beautifully decorated and comfortable - the bed is a dream and i slept so well in my peaceful bedroom after some Netflix and supper from the well stocked kitchen i was in the area for business and will return to this gorgeous retreat- Dont get me started on the beauty of the area!!

Easter Balloan Cottage is stunning, set in beautiful surroundings and perfectly located for our hillwalking trip. Shirley was an incredible host, providing friendly and helpful information prior to our arrival. Shirley offered a warm welcome and was always very responsive to any query we had. The accommodation is perfect and all the little details and extra were a welcome surprise.
