Experience the once-in a lifetime 2024 eclipse in a huge, uniquely beautiful, family- and pet-friendly country home that is DIRECTLY in the path of totality in Brockport NY. Situated on more than one acre of land, backing up to a golf course, this historical 1840 home offers a perfect setting to have an unforgettable time with family and/or friends. Four bedrooms, plus two air mattresses, can sleep 10-12 people (2 nights min). Fire pit, two back porches, invisible fence, ample parking and more! We are opening our house ONLY between April 6 and April 10, 2024 for people wishing to view the total eclipse on April 8, 2024. There is a 2-night minimum. Our house lies directly beneath the "path of totality" and has a huge 1 acre yard to enjoy optimal viewing. This charming, well cared for, pet-friendly home was built in 1840 and contains much of its historical integrity, wood beams and unique layout, but has every modern convenience. The house is meant to be enjoyed with gorgeous country and golf course views from every window, huge back porches and big sofas for lounging, a "party" garage with TV and ping pong table, comfy quiet bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There are three bedrooms on the second level of the home and a huge upper bedroom area with another bed and two air mattresses for use anywhere in the home, plus ample sofa space. Feel free to use the washer and dryer as needed. For dog owners, there is an invisible fence containment system around the entire perimeter of the property, provided you have a compatible collar for your dog. The huge kitchen has high quality appliances and is stocked with everything you need for cooking and dining, pots, pans, plates, utensils, spices, and other basics The propane grill is also available for use. Don't feel like cooking? Right next door is Pinewood Country Club, a public 9-hole golf course. They have a beautiful bar and restaurant with excellent food and a huge outdoor patio to enjoy evening cocktails. There are two driveways for parking multiple cars. This house would be perfect for a group of couples or large family. So come, relax for a few days in the country of Western New York and see the eclipse from an absolutely perfect location. We will provide bed linens and towels but feel free to bring your own if you like. We will also leave kindling and cordwood for the outdoor firepit.
