The good: Location is great- very peaceful with beautiful views. Neighbors are fairly close so if you are on the patio you will see each other, but friendly people. Kayaks, grill and outdoor fire pit were very nice amenities. AC works great, clean and comfy place. The bad: The water had a terrible sewer smell, to the point we didn’t cook or brush our teeth with it and were uncomfortable showering. We avoided showering for 2 days and used water bottles for cooking and brushing teeth. The smell would heavily linger on your skin if you washed your hands, and in the house and even outside down towards the dock if you ran the water at all. The entire home smelled like a porta potty. We spent the majority of our time outdoors did not use the downstairs bedroom due to the smell. Host said it was just the smell from the area, but the neighbors disagreed. Did not hear back after that. Was really disappointed how the situation was handled, but luckily we had good weather and could be outside.

it was the perfect retreat, very peaceful and relaxing. The host was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a getaway retreat
