Relax with the whole family, swim in untouched surf beach, walk the beach at dawn to Waikuku or to Pines, return through Tuhaitara Coastal Park, bike at dusk through the wetlands. Three bedroom with loft and a portable bassinet. Two great hot showers inside and out. Gather pine cones for the woodburner. Create driftwood sculptures on the beach. Thirty minutes to Christchurch CBD, 10 minutes to Pegasus and Kaiapoi golf courses, day trip to Hamner Springs or to Kaikoura whale watching. Woodend Beach is a walking village on the edge of Tuhaitara Coastal Park. Architecturally designed NZ family bach with three bedrooms with a loft and a large central living room opening out onto a deck. Fully secure with a large gate and fence. Across the road is Tuhaitara Coastal Park where you can picnic and walk through to the beach for a swim.

Tiny walking village, walking distance to the beach, on the edge of the Tuhaitara Coastal Park and repo/wetlands and near the Woodend beach camping grounds. Hear tree leaves rustling, birds calling or walking on the roof and the very occasional possum, tree branches or twigs cracking, see Milky Way, hear the water pumping when turn water on, hear the surf breaking. No city sounds. few and very slow vehicles, mostly bikes and folk walking.
Walk or bike to the beach and around the neighbourhood and camping ground, and through the wetlands and to golf courses and to Cafes at Woodend township and Pegasus township, and further afield - by car or bike to Rangiora and Kaiapoi.
