Really spacious place, great rooms and great location!! Recommended for long stays!!

We stayed for two weeks with small children. We really liked the location and high end furnishings. Everything is new, including the massive quality televisions and comfy beds. I really appreciated the host supplying a new Pack 'n Play and plenty of dishwasher/ washing machine pods. We did feel however that this is an older house (early 90s at a guess), and that some attention to detail would have gone a long way to make this a luxury experience. We spent the first 48 hours without hot water and a cooker, and the third day with multiple technicians coming in the house. The host did refund 50% of the first nights, but it was still a jarring experience. We also felt the carpet wasn't very clean. Other details have been overlooked as well, squeaky doors, smelly drains, paper thin older windows that let a lot of ambient noise (highway, planes, trains) in, uneven cracked patio. Overall, I think much effort was made to make this house look nice, but we just weren't very comfortable here.
