The house itself is lovely. In a golf community and super quiet. Easy with dogs to walk around. But, future guests should understand this really isn’t an airbnb. It’s a rental (potentially the model unit) in this condo community. The “host” is actually a realtor who took DAYS to respond. If we’d had an issue, we’d have been out of luck for sure. She also asked for an additional contract outside of airbnb via personal email. That was not indicated in the booking (and I’m not even sure if allowed on airbnb…) Inside, this not really being an airbnb shows in a lot of little ways. Beds are rock hard. No extra pillows. No bathmats. There are glasses and plates and some pots but zero cooking oil or spices - not even S&P. There’s no can opener or corkscrew. Etc Clearly not meant for living. And the checkout instructions told us to wipe all counters, mirrors, shelves plus sweep & vacuum. What’s the cleaning fee for?? Overall pleasant stay as a layover but wouldn’t have worked for a real trip.
