The house is located in the southern part of the island and is very quiet and feels homey and quaint. The view of the trees and foliage adds to the feeling of being tucked away from the hustle and bustle! The space is large with all necessary amenities, not very near a grocery store but local taxis are easy to hire. The air conditioning works great in the two rooms it’s in and the jacuzzi tub in the master suite is luxurious!!

If you intend to explore the whole island, this location is awesome. Decent restaurants and supermarket just 10-15 minutes away in Vieux Fort, but Micoud is quiet and no traffic delays. Castries/Gros Islet seemed so noisy and crowded by comparison! The house is in very good shape but not new, and some furnishings are worn, but overall a comfortable stay. My buddy and I had lots of room; we could easily have accommodated two more adults. Only two of the three bedrooms have A/C and during our stay the remotes were not working, so one thermostat was set at 18 degrees and the other 26. (Or off. Off was always an option!) The rooftop was great for stargazing. Kudos to Claudius and Gisele for stocking coffee for the first (and second) mornings, along with other staples. Of course as loyal airbnb guests we replenished before leaving! Recommended. I would happily stay again.

Claudius has a wonderful spacious and well equipped house. It was a very good value for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the spa style tub in the bathroom, and the well equipped kitchen. The house has room for a large group with three bedrooms and more being built. The location is quite far from tourist services so a car is very highly recommended. Gisele the host contact was good at showing us the house and answering our questions, and she checked in on us every couple days. We did have a small miscommunication because we did not carry a cell phone and she assumed we did, so discuss that ahead of time.

Cladius and Giselle were wonderful!! They are new host Airbnb and really are working hard too make vacation stay is enjoyable in their property. Prior to arrival they helped us arrange rental cars transportation from the port and back to the port. We arrived after 9 o'clock at night and they met us in a public place and guided us to the property. In addition Gisele had made sure that there were items in the fridge and Pantry items so that we could have breakfast and coffee without running to the grocery store first thing in the morning. The property is very comfortable with air conditioning in 2 bedrooms and a wonderful master bathroom complete with impressive Spa shower hot tub unit. The kitchen has American sized appliances. There is even fitness equipment for your use. There is an outside gas grill with an outside bar unfortunately we were so busy traveling the island we did not get to try it out. The upstairs has a large patio on the roof for you to enjoy outside time and sunsets. I would highly recommend staying on site this side of the island as the roads are significantly better than the more traditionally tourists side of the island. In addition the local flavor is really great to experience instead of just being around other tourists. The dinner Fish Fry on Saturday night is not to be missed. Much better than the touristy Gros Islet. I would highly recommend going to La Tille Falls, it is very close to the house and well worth the visit. Be sure to pick up some lemongrass syrup from John. They also have TV that has American stations so we were even able to watch football and some of the bowl games. Gisele was exceptional at keeping in contact. She was always just a text away even if we were somewhere on the other side of the island and needed directions. If you are looking for a true st. Lucian experience but with modern Comforts I would highly recommend booking this home.
