Just a quick drive to the world famous route 66, downtown Williams, nature, lakes, hiking, and the wildlife safari - Bearizona! With holiday favorites like the Grand Canyon railway a.k.a the Polar Express, this sweet family-friendly home is not only “the “gateway to the Grand Canyon” but a restful or adventurous pathway to beautiful memories. ELK ON THE NINE is a charming, “cabin eclectic”, and inviting family home located on the 9th fairway of the Elephant Rocks Golf Course in Williams, AZ (“the gateway to the Grand Canyon”). This patio home offers two master suites, a bonus kid’s bedroom and a half bath in the common area. As you enter the home you are greeted with vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. The kitchen offers modern amenities with a welcoming kitchen nook for coffee and conversations. The great room, seen through the bar pass through, is light and open with a gas fireplace, a smart TV, kid’s play area, ample seating, community half bath, and access to the covered back patio under string lights, firepit and BBQ grill. Our favorite is sitting on the wood porch swing enjoying the sunset over the golf course with a cup of tea! The master suite, Elk Grove, is cabin chic with a bathroom that exudes a grotto style featuring a generous soaking tub, delightful shower, double vanity, walk-in closet*, and a separate toilet room. The second master suite features a sweet, hand-painted, mountainscape mural inspired by the driving on route 66 between Barstow and Williams. The laundry room offers a deep utility sink for those longer stays, snow play accompanied with complimentary laundry detergent. The feature wall was designed to create an elevated, inviting and warm “cabin chic” aesthetic. Offering a dedicated work space looking onto the golf course, Elk Grove is a pretty special room with a separate door to the back patio and swing. The en-suite, grotto, offers a large soaking tub, dual vanities, stand up shower, and a walk in closet. There is an iron/ironing board in the closet along with hangers and extra blankets and… a wall.. Between this room and the Elk Grove master, you could comfortably sleep 5-6. This is a fun family activity.
