Come and enjoy a peaceful getaway at The Chalet in Vista, with beautiful mountain views and a quick 9 miles to the beach. This bright and homey guest suite provides a perfect central location for visiting the pristine San Diego beaches and other local attractions like the world-famous San Diego Zoo Safari Park, the Flower Fields, or the San Diego Botanical Garden. Vista is a welcoming city in North County San Diego, known for local breweries and old town charm. The Chalet is a top-floor suite, with a private balcony featuring beautiful valley and mountain views. Located in charming Vista, it is mere minutes to the beach or hiking trails. You will have your own private entrance with keyless entry. We created this suite with coziness and comfort in mind, and want you to feel like it is a home away from home. There is a new and super comfortable queen bed, a large claw foot tub, luxuriously fluffy towels, a mini fridge, teas and tea kettle, delicious Nespresso coffee, and much more. The Chalet is on the top floor of our home, in a completely private suite. This is a shared space in an older home, and the walls and floors are not soundproof. We will make every effort to ensure you have a quiet and peaceful stay, but you may hear muffled conversation from the lower floors or the outdoor spaces.

The suite was was immaculately clean and we were treated to freshly baked brownies upon arrival. We could not have asked for anything more after a long road trip from the north. thank you Victoria!
Such a welcoming and relaxing space! As a solo traveler for this trip I felt completely safe here the entire stay. The space is even better than the photos and description! Victoria went out of her way to make me feel welcome with personalized recommendations for visiting the area, champagne, and homemade macaroons. Everything was perfectly clean and couldn’t have been better. Would absolutely stay again!
Will definitely come back if I need another staycation. Loved the place, it was so beautiful. She had brownies and flowers and drinks for us. So amazing. I also really liked the bed, so comfy and the sound machine was so useful.
Place was as advertised and just like the photos in the listing. Great balcony with peaceful view. Washer/Dryer in unit was a definite plus. A lot of room to move, work and spread out. Would definitely come back. Host was great and put in the little extra effort to make my stay memorable.
The place was beautiful and felt very cozy! The Chalet is a definite must for our romantic get away! The home was clean and when we arrived we were touched by their hospitality! Most importantly it was a great location and near the highway so we could travel without any hassle! We can’t wait to return to this beautiful home!

The Chalet is located in a peaceful neighborhood with beautiful flowers, rustling trees, and blue skies. Some of our neighbors are peacocks, whom you might hear or see from time to time!
Free Parking for one vehicle is available on site, with ample street parking for additional vehicles. Vista Village is just over 1 mile away, head there to enjoy local coffee, breweries, delis, shopping, and delicious homemade ice cream! Headed to the beach? Carlsbad State Beach is just over 9 miles away! Interested in hiking? Less than 30 minutes to local favorite Potato Chip Rock and many others! Local vineyards are mere miles away as well!
