My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and did not want to leave, but we had family obligations to get to. The view is incredible, magnificently peaceful. The directions to get up the mountain were excellent, which we needed to refer to as the GPS sometimes cuts in and out. We really enjoyed everything the cabin has to offer including the pool table, darts and hot tub on the deck. What a magical setting this is to have morning coffee and cocktails later in the day. We were on the deck a lot. The kitchen was fully stocked with all needed utensils which came in handy as I cooked breakfast and dinner. We were a little leery about going down the mountain late in the day as we would be driving up at night, but it worked out great. We'd head out during the day into Bryson City and other towns close by and drive back up before dark. Communication with the host when needed was very prompt. You will feel a world away while staying here. We're already talking about back!

This was the best rental I've ever stayed in. It was clean, many amenities, and the most amazing mountain view. There are other cabins nearby, however I felt secluded the whole time. It is so peaceful and quiet, and you literally are above the clouds at times. The hot tub was very welcome after a long day of hiking and the upstairs loft area was a fun place to hang out. The location is perfect, on top of the mountain but you are only about 15 minutes away from Bryson City with stores and restaurants. The last part of the drive up is a bit steep and gravel, but my little sedan made it up with no issues. The hosts were great and stayed in contact daily starting several days prior and when I arrived, they made sure I was comfortable with everything. I would not hesitate to book this place again!
