Hamble-Le-Rice is a lovely village at the mouth of the River Hamble, with several thriving marinas. There are many pubs, cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance of the property, as well as a well-stocked Co-op just across the road.
Beautiful walks can be easily accessed from the property, including the England Coastal Path, which goes through Hamble Common. The Royal Victoria Country Park is not far away in Netley, and Southampton city centre is just a few miles away. Buses run regularly from just across the road.
Families enjoy Hamble Quay for crabbing and the beach alongside for paddling and picnicking. A delightful trip can be made across the river to Warsash on the Pink Ferry from Hamble Quay.

Hamble is just under 4 miles from J8 of the M27. There is a train station which is 1.5 miles from the house, and buses to and from Southampton city centre run twice an hour from a bus stop 50 metres away.
