We had a great time with our very kind and warm host Brid who made us feel at home in a perfect place very close to the beautiful Atlantic shore and a view to the Cliffs of Moher. Galway is also within easy reach via bus departing almost each hour. Absolutely recommended.

Brid’s beautiful home is, in my opinion, why travelers choose Air BnB. It doesn’t always happen, and may not even happen very often, but occasionally you have the privilege of meeting a beautiful soul like Brid and staying in her lovely home. Brid was communicative, kind, funny, and generally the best host anyone could be! She provided restaurant recommendations, recommendations of things to see and do in Ireland, provided a lovely breakfast in the morning, and took the time to talk with us over breakfast. Brid’s home itself is nestled in the gorgeous Connemara region close to the artistic Spiddal Village. It is a beautiful home from which you can see the sea from the kitchen windows. Our room was wonderful—it was large, open, spotless, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was immaculate. I hope someday we meet again, and we will certainly try to stay with Brid if someday we return to Ireland. My only regret is that we didn’t have more time to spend in Brid’s lovely home.
