I visited this lodge over the Easter weekend with my husband, 1 year old and dog. The actual location of the place is stunning, perched near a cliff edge with endless views across the sea. However, when booking, the listing does not make clear that this lodge forms part of the Sea Marge Hotel in Overstrand. When i first discovered this, I was concerned that the listing was perhaps a scam, so I called Sea Marge and they confirmed that it was a part of the hotel and they had received my booking. Not sure whether it might have been cheaper had i booked directly through the hotel. The rest of the stay ran smoothly, the lodge is exactly as described, clean, perfect for a short stay for our family. The hot tub was just perfect and we made the most of it! Staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of small things though - please provide hand soap in the bathroom and the option to replace towels (as there is no washing machine in the lodge). Overall we had a fab weekend!
