We really enjoyed the stay at the little black cottage. It was cozy and very cute! I thoroughly enjoyed the decor and style this place had. Comfy beds too! Clean bathroom and nice kitchen. We took advantage of the cozy outdoor spots to relax. I felt right at home and now plan to redecorate my own house to match this adorable spot!! Definitely a great place to stay.

Second time renting with Steve in a week and it went just as well as the first time.

Steve was personable. The place was fairly new and had a great concept at first glance. I was able to see two deer far in the backyard. I love the nature like vibe. There are still quite a few practical quirks that need to be worked through to ideally match the listing accurately and make for an issue free experience. I had an issue with the thermostats, washer and dryer installation and sensors, stovetop burners, shower didn’t drain, cleanliness of units, security gate not being secured, and the tub handle came off during first use. Maintenance was called and I had to be transferred to another unit. Steve was accommodating but it was a cold weekend for thermostat issues with a toddler. I wasn’t cut a good deal on money back. Steve was also not as responsive initially due to time zone challenges and AirBnb had to reach out to him. Instructions are needed for lots here. But it is a safe, quiet, and peaceful property. However, it is not very baby or toddler friendly with the design.

Great space to stay! I recommend renting both spaces for a more private experience. I wasn’t aware that both facilities were an option until after I arrived.
