Comfortable home with lot's of great activities
The Party Barn was a great place to stay, close to everything, Joe gave us great recommendations and answered any questions promptly. The house was exactly as pictured a very great space. Lots of outdoor activities , ping pong to corn hole etc and a great hot tub would definitely stay here again.
This place was perfect for our family get together/eclipse viewing adventure. Wonderful layout for preparing meals, with a great big dinner table. Very easy to get privacy in a room, or hang out with others in the numerous comfy spaces. The games were a great diversion for the group, and made the place seem very familiar (like home). Joe was very quick to answer my questions, and that made me feel very much at ease. We really picked a good one, I can only hope all of my abnb stays are as great. Nothing but a good comfortable relaxing and easy time from the moment we got the door open 'til we departed with smiles on our faces. Thank you Joe!!!!
Our recent trip was a girl's get away. All of us are seniors. Was plenty of room for all 4 of us. Was a little surprised it wasn't closer to downtown. We thought it would be walkable, but was not. The road in front of the house was very noisy night and day. Anyone sleeping in the front bedroom was not as comfortable as the rest of us. The coffee maker did not work, but we were glad to see that they did offer coffee and amenities for our use. I would recommend it to our friends and would book it again in the future. Was definately worth the money.
the only problem was no outside lighting and dishwasher couldn't get to work

Fredericksburg is very proud of its German heritage and you can learn all about it when you visit the Pioneer Museum. You'll get to see original buildings from the first people to settle the area over 160 years ago.
The National Museum of the Pacific War is an extraordinary look at the Pacific theater of WWII. The 6-acre site includes the Admiral Nimitz Museum, Pacific Combat Zone, George Bush Gallery, and more. On certain weekends the museum actually puts on a demonstration of what the war was like for those that fought in it via a battle reenactment.
The area is well-known for its many wineries and you can explore them when you visit Moon's Vineyard Voyage. The company takes you on general tours of up to 4 wineries or you can customize a tour to experience not only the local wineries but also local breweries and distilleries.
The Party Barn is just a short 1 minute drive or 6 minute walk to Main St. Plenty of on-site parking available to the left side of the house on the right side of the gravel pavement.
