Located in the hills above Gournes, a 10 minute drive will take you to the resorts of Gournes and Gouves, where you can find a choice of eateries and tavernas, as well as some lovely beaches. Kokkini Hani is also close by, with a choice of tavernas plus a couple of larger supermarkets. You’ll also be well-placed to explore the larger towns of Heraklion and Hersonissos, both reachable within a 20 minute drive.
