Very much enjoyed interacting with host family and other guests. Lovely home in beautiful surroundings. Very clean and well presented. very comfortable bed. Responsive to needs when things needed adjusting i.e. room temperture thermostat. Multiple guest did make parking a bit tricky but was also resolved without much fuss.

The views were absolutely lovely, the place was very well kept and the hosts had fantastic hospitality! Would recommend staying here!

Maggie’s place was immaculate and once I asked for them she sent very clear instructions on how to enter the property, but I did have to ask. The area is at the end of a subdivision, with beautiful Mountain View’s; and located 20 min, by car, from Queenstown CBD. You will need a car to reach the city center though, as the roads into town are not overly biker friendly. The hostess was very laissez-faire and unobtrusive which isn’t always the case when they share the property. I will say the add did not make it very clear that 1) you are renting 1 out of 4 rentable rooms on the property 2) the hosts live on site. The bathrooms were so clean it’s hard to believe they’re ever used! And the shower/tub is in a separate space from the toilet which is nice. However, the host did not provide soap at the sink in the toilet room which I felt was very unsanitary. Oddly there was soap at the shower room sink. There’s also no vent fan in the toilet which meant it could get stinky.

I booked last minute to stay at Maggie's and she quickly accepted the booking. I had a double room to myself, with shared large kitchen and living room, bathroom with bath and shower, washing machine and outdoor space. The other guests staying were quiet and respectful but it could get busy if the 4 separate rooms were all full. A very convenient place to stay for a couple of nights, and right next to a walking track. Thanks for having me!
