We booked a last minute extended weekend stay. Amanda and Connor were very responsive hosts and communicated well. All of us including our 11 year old and 2 year old enjoyed the cottage and lake very much! We were very lucky weather wise and we got in the lake for a swim, kayak, and used the water mat. We all enjoyed being in nature, seeing the stars at night and enjoying a campfire too. The town of Huntsville and Novar are great for things you need or forgot or a bite to eat. The cottage was great and we appreciated the rustic vibe. Amazing view from almost every spot in and out of the cottage. Everything worked great, all amenities listed were available. Minimal cell service and no wifi but we like it that way! Amazing spot, would definitely recommend and return in future!

Beautiful quaint cottage, modern inside, beautiful view, kayaks and a canoe available for use, we favoured the paddle boat! Kids were swimming off of the dock and the new floating dock was a great hit! Thanks for your hospitality and giving us a great place for our family to unwind!

We recently spent the weekend at this clean and cozy cottage! What a beautiful location on Oudaze lake with lots to do. Amanda was very kind and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better family weekend

We love staying at Amanda’s cottage, especially in the fall! The colours are beautiful and the view on the lake can’t be beat. Amanda is a very responsive and helpful host and all of the amenities you would need for your stay are available at the cottage. The location is close enough to Huntsville if you need to go into town but remote enough that it’s peaceful and quiet. The cottage is always clean upon arrival and there are lots of thoughtful extra touches like a library of movies for rainy days, space heaters if it gets chilly and a welcome bottle of wine :) Thanks for another great stay!

The backyard of this cottage was gorgeous but the inside was messy, dusty. They need new furnitures. The current ones has this smell to it. What made our stay unpleasant was the plugged washroom. The first day it was plugged for 3 hours. The host came and fixed it somewhat. On our third day the washroom was plugged the whole day and we spent our day driving for 20 mins back and forward to use the washroom. The shower was plugged throughout our stay. I didn’t bring it up to the host’s attention because it was long weekend and we didn’t wanna be too nosy. I had put 4 adults and 3 kids on my search bar and 2 of them were infants. The host didn’t mention anything the day of when they found out we were 7 people not 5. She tried to charge me extra 150 because i complaint but air bnb declined their offer. Two of the kids were infants. Overall pretty backyard but messy place. Washroom was disaster. If they maintain the place. It’s a gorgeous cottage. The cleaner needs to do a better job.
