Conveniently located just 15 mn from the Mayo Clinic and downtown Rochester, 10 mn from the Rochester International Airport and I90. Welcome to the Cottage at Sundog Homestead! You will be staying in a private one-bedroom loft cottage on a 7-acre hobby farm with a lots of wildlife. The cottage is an updated old grain building separate from our main house. There is ample parking on the property. When we are home, you may see us working on the farm but we will not disturb you, unless you want company :) The kitchenette has a multifunction air fryer, microwave, toaster, dual brew coffee maker, and a fridge. There is no stove but an electric skillet to cook with. A grill (charcoal and gas) is at your disposition for year-round BBQ. There is a counter top reverse osmosis water filtration system that dispenses hot and cold water. The bedroom is up a staircase on the loft level. Be advised that the loft has a low ceiling and may be inconvenient for people over 6 ft. The stairs are steep which could be a problem for people with mobility issues. We have had guests who chose to sleep on the sofa (1 person). It does get hot upstairs in the summer, there is a portable AC and a fan to cool off. There is plenty of space on the property for your furry friend to explore and run around. please inquire if you have more than one dog, extra fee applies. We ask that puppies be crated when left unattended in the cottage. The house has a septic system, please no wipes or sanitary products can be flushed. Thank you.
