Mercedes place was clean and cosy, being extremely close to MTR, cheap local grocery stores, a supermarket and also a 7 Eleven convenience store. Her apartment was well equipped with everything you could need, and she even had the Britta water jug ready for us which was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for small families, couples or solo travellers who enjoy having their own space! (Tip: Bring less luggage to avoid the hassle of bringing them up and down the stairs, which is common for many old-style HK apartments with no elevators.) We loved our stay!

Mercedes was very prompt in our communication and there were no issues with us having an early check in. Her instructions are clear and the location of the apartment is very accessible to public transport. We had a lovely 2 nights stay. Thank you for hosting us! :)

The apartment is in a really good location - easy to get places from and the neighbourhood is great, just be prepared for the 4 flights of stairs if you have heavy bags! The toilet was leaking when we stayed which made the floor wet but we've let Mercedes know. Mercedes was very responsive and left us a note for our arrival. A small but good value apartment :)

We're very lucky to have found Mercedes's lovely apartment in Hong Kong. It's a pretty typical HK apartment - small, with a tiny bathroom - but Mercedes' sparse and stylish design makes it feel much bigger. It's comfortable, warm and very convenient - a few minutes' walk from the subway station, upstairs from an excellent coffee shop and close to many good restaurants and bars. We didn't meet Mercedes but she left thorough and meticulous instructions, useful advice on the area, and was really pleasant to communicate with before and during our trip. If we're ever in HK again we'll definitely check to see if Mercedes's apartment is available.
