after an initial confusion on check in protocol which was quickly and easily resolved we discovered one bed was missing a top sheet. Very quickly after contacting the host they were in touch by phone and text promising a resolution. This was late on a Friday and I didn't expect or really was too fussed if a sheet didn't arrive till the next day. But no, late on the Friday evening a staff member arrived with a top sheet, wine and snacks and insisted on making up the bed for me. Plus she had driven half way across Tasmania to rectify this small mistake. I'm very grateful for such service and thank this staff member who went beyond...
What a gorgeous little cottage this is. It has been beautifully renovated with really nice old world charm. We didn’t know when we arrived that there was an outdoor area where there is a firepit so this was nice to be able to sit out under the stars with the fire going, We were concerned with one review saying that there were polyester sheets, but this was not the case as they were all cotton and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. Some really nice touches and the positioning of the cottage was ideal, being only a 10 minute walk to Cataract Gorge. There is a sweeping view of Launceston being high up on the hill with the morning sun streaming into the kitchen made it a delightful home away from home. Seamless check in. Thoroughly recommend and we will be back!
The place is great! Walking distance to the gorge. Good views and comfy bed. Bit of an oversight… We stayed for two weeks and we’re left with two rolls of toilet paper. We would love to stay there again! Home away from home.
Although we arrived to find the property had not been serviced since the last guests MaisonNets did promptly arrange for this to be done. It was disappointing to arrive initially and we did feel let down but they did sort it and we didnt let it impact our vacation. We enjoyed the location as it was very close to Cataract Gorge which was just what we needed.
2 bed 1 bath house with lots of character and style. Spacious kitchen, living and master bedroom. Has king size bed, which many airbnbs don’t. Non-polyester sheets would’ve been better. Quiet street. Close walking distance to a nice IGA. I enjoyed staying here😊
