We chose the Secret Garden as a base for the groomsmen for a wedding in Kaapschehoop. Taflin's place exceeded our expectations with such thought and care put into every detail you could think of. I have not stayed in an Airbnb that is more homely than this. Great views and our 11 year old lab had a great time exploring the garden and boulder fields on the doorstep. We caught it as Autumn was setting in. Spectacular colours and beautiful birds in the garden. A nature lovers paradise. I hope to return again and would give this 10 stars if possible. Taflin was super helpful connecting us up with relevant community members for walks, birding and more. Great way to feel at home while on holiday!!

The Secret Garden cottage exceeded all our expectations. We could not have asked for a more private and beautiful setting. The cottage was neat, clean, well equiped and maintained. We will definitely visit again!

Taflin's place was absolutely wonderful. It was nicely secluded with beautiful surroundings, but also walkable distance to the Bohemian Cafe and other restaurants. I appreciated the small touches in the apartment such as assorted snacks, bath bombs in the bathroom, books to read and the electric fireplace was perfect for the misty days. Felt like a little fantasy world! Check in was super easy which I appreciated as I came a bit early. Will 100% recommend!

What a great choice we made to book a few days in Taflin's superb cottage - "The Secret Garden" - in Kaapschehoop for our 30th anniversary. The cottage was as described and more, and was worth every moment we spent there. Taflin is a great communicator and went out of her way to keep us informed and make recommendations for our stay. The kitchen is very well stocked, the entire cottage tastefully decorated and we really appreciated the champagne in the fridge and ready-to-pour sherry decanter waiting for us. My wife's guide dog loved the place as well. The garden is superb, well laid out with lots of colourful nooks and crannies - as befits secret gardens - and full of character. Also appreciated Taflin making the outside steps accessible for my wife with reflective tape. Restaurants are within easy walking distance, the wild horses come right to the front lawn, and the most amazing escarpment lookout is just a short walk away across the field. Thanks Taflin, we'll be back.

This is definately one if the best Air BnB places I have ever stayed. Location is brilliant, but the garden, space, finishing and amenities are just super. Decor is stunning and all the little extra touches made this more that home away from home. HIGHLY recommended for a wonderful stay in this villiage only 3 hours away from Pretoria. Excellent value for money.
