Kjøkkenet og stuen ble renovert i 2023, og tilbyr alt man trenger for et komfortabelt opphold som elektriske gulvvarme, oppvaskmaskin og elektrisk komfyr. Badet hadde noen kosmetiske oppdateringer i 2023. Det elektriske anlegget til huset ble totalrenovert i 2023. Takhøyden er lavere enn normalen, og speaielt under takbjelkene. Personer over 2 meter vil ha problemer med å bevege seg rundt i fjøsen uten å bøye seg. Personer under 180 cm kan gå som vanlig under bjelkene. Soverommene er små, men funksjonelle. På to av soverommene er sengene 120X200 cm, og har plass til to personer. Dette resulterer i at låven rommer soveplasser for syv personer, men fem personer komfortabelt. Det samme gjelder for sittegruppen i stuen. Uteområdet har en uteplass, en hage og en låvebro. Utemøbler og en grill er tilgjengelig for gjestene. Låvebrua er et mer tilbaketrukket område. Parkering er rett ved inngangen. For de som ønsker en forfriskende svømmetur i Norskehavet kan dette gjøres på den lokale strande. Havet ligger rett ved siden av hytta.

Siamo stati nel bellissimo alloggio di Silje e Ole per una giornata ed è andato tutto alla perfezione. La casa era pulitissima, ordinata e con tutto l’occorrente. I due host hanno una cortesia estrema per gli ospiti: ci hanno fatto trovare dei dolcetti tra cui una renna di cioccolato per i bambini. La vista sul fiordo era stupenda e Ole e’ stato gentilissimo nel darci anche qualche informazione e curiosità sulla zona. Lo consiglio vivamente!!!! Un alloggio davvero Speciale!
We went there to complete our lapland trip with two friends. The place lookes exactly like the photos extremely clean and orderly. There is a lot of hikes to do around and they have a welcome binder in which there are activities that could be done near. The views were phenomenal. Really good communication with the hosts; they are really kind and responsive. The kitchen has all the amenities nescesary and more. The only thing to our suprise was the height of the ceiling and the bars that support it if you are above 180cm you might need to be careful to not hit your head on them. But it is totaly worth it for the views and the comfort. Can't recommend it enough. If im at the lofoten islands again would stay there again.
Très beau logement avec vue imprenable sur la mer avec plage, bien situé dans le nord des Lofoten ! Le logement correspondait à la description. Nous avons passé une très bon séjour de 2 nuits ! Les hôtes étaient sympathiques, accueillants et réactifs à toutes nos questions. Et pour conclure, des aurores boréales étaient visibles depuis le logement !

There are four other cabins in close proximity, all connected though the history of the farm the barn once belonged to. There is a good distance to the next farm, so this location can be said to be at the countryside.
The barn is located in Lødingen municapality, and can offer magnificent mountain hikes and kayaking routes, and we are happy to provide more information about nearby hikes and kayaking trips if need be. Furthermore, the barn is situated in Vestbygda, which is a very charming community worth a visit.
The barn is in Ofoten, but has a unique accesibility to both Lofoten and Vesterålen. Day trips are possible, or maybe you just need a breather before taking in the breathtaking Norwegian scenery. Vesterålen, Lofoten and Ofoten can be accessed via Sortland (1 hour), Svolvær (1.5 hour), Andenes (2.2 hour), Harstad (1.5 hour) and Lødingen (25 minutes).
Additionally, the barn is in immediate proximity to a local beach, fjords and a freshwater lake and mountainarea.
