GARE 55 is a sustainable residence for expats, companies and groups in the port of Ghent and within cycling distance of the creek area. Now and then a slow train thunders past. In the common room (with garden) there is room to socialise, or to find a quiet corner and do some more work. Or watch TV, cook, eat, read. Stylish rooms including a private kitchenette and bathroom. Each of our 10 rooms and studios have their own 'front door' at the back of the building, and there is ample parking space for everyone, complete with solar charging stations. Whether you're here for a few days or an extended weekend, make yourself completely at home in your temporary sanctuary, overlooking the garden and the old railway, equipped with every comfort, thoughtful design, and natural colors. From your PC, tablet, or smartphone, you can stream to the smart TV and enjoy your own Netflix, Disney+, Streamz, ... You can also watch regular TV (Telenet), like back in the old days. All rooms can be booked separately. On weekends, we rent out the entire building to groups for minimum 2 nights, please contact us. With your code, you check in flexibly from 16h without a set end hour, check-out is at 10h.
