Stayed at Melanie’s place for our yearly visit to the area. The place was unfortunately a lot smaller than pictured. It also used to be, or perhaps still is, a part of a motel (which we didn’t know when we booked and would’ve changed our minds), and it shows. Anyone pregnant or with a larger frame probably should not rent this unit as the shower is extremely small (you turn around and am faced with the glass door). Also one of rooms do not have closet space because it’s filled with cleaning supplies. Owners made very lip stick renovations that look less impressive than other air bnb’s I’ve stayed at (felt cheap). Additionally, there were old deflating party balloons found behind the sofa from someone who stayed before us (why am I charged a high cleaning fee?). The floors felt kind of dusty and the soap dispenser was empty. I was really rooting for this new air bnb but felt disappointed — for this price I’ve stayed at nicer air bnbs that were cleaner, larger and more central.

Very cute little place and a short walk to town. Went for a quick weekend trip. Everything was super clean and a great location

The unit is at a walkable distance to the city which becomes very important during busy times because it is difficult spot in the city. The beddings were soft and comfortable. The unit is tidy and has everything you need. Definitely recommend to stay at this place.

Melanie’s place was perfect for our getaway. It had all the things we needed for our stay, and was the perfect location for walking downtown Saugatuck.
