Welcome to Sunset Cove - A PRIVATE 3 Acre luxury lakefront lodge perfect for groups and families that want to be away from the crowds but with access to all the Smokies have to offer. Enjoy a day on the water on our private dock and the Pigeon Forge attractions and unwind in the evening by taking in sunsets over the lake in the hot tub. Our estate surrounds you with nature in a secluded lodge that has a game room, fire pit, 2 full kitchens, 2 fireplaces and tons of gathering space. Private Douglas Luxury Lakefront Lodge. ~4000 sqft home on over 3 acres without a neighbor in site. A 3 tier deck for creating unforgettable memories on playing, relaxing and eating while overlooking your own private dock and beautiful lakefront! Can't see a neighbor on either side of the house. Big BBQ grill and Big outdoor table for cookouts! Lounge or take a nap on 2 hanging day beds while reading a book. After a long day on the water come back to soak in the 10 person hot tub or relax by the fire pit! Entertainment Galore: Arcade games, Air Hockey, Ping-pong, Foosball, 2 fire-pits for roasting s'mores, TV with gaming system, family friendly board games, puzzles and more. Pet Friendly: We know that your furry friend is a part of the family, which is why our lodge is pet-friendly. You'll find a convenient dog door and access to a fenced-in grass area and dog kennel in the basement. Our home is ideally located far enough to be away from the crowds but near 40 and Exit407-Sevierville, leaving a short drive to all the attractions of the smokies (Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Smokey Mountain National Park and Pigeon Forge) . But with all the amenities available, you may not want to leave! There are 2 steps required to enter the property. However, there is two bedrooms & full bathroom located on the main level. Additionally you can drive and park near the lower level which for no stair access. ☀ Do you need to bring your own linens? ➜ No, no and absolutely not! Our promise to our guests is to provide consistency and to us, consistency means ensuring essentials. We will provide sheets, towels, washcloths, etc so that you can fill your bags with more exciting things! ☀ What other amenities do you provide? ➜ We provide full bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom. We also provide ample trash bags for the kitchen & bathrooms. Additionally, we provide a starter set of the following items that you might want to bring or purchase extra, depending on your length of stay: Toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, & laundry pods. ☀ Where can I rent a boat? Several locations to rent paddleboards and other various boats and jet skis are nearby. The closest is H2O Water sports, just down the street from home. ☀ Can I dock my boat at the house? If you would like to bring your own boat, there are several places it can be put in the water within 10 minutes of the home, and can be secured to our dock for the entirety of your stay. ☀ Is there good fishing nearby? Yes! Lake Douglas has almost 600 miles of shoreline and is rated one of the best bass fishing lakes in the Country Important Notes: Dock is a lovely walk down a winding path in the backyard some people choose to rent an Atv/UTV/Golf cart to make it quick and easy to get down to the lake (easily rentable from Good Ole Boys nearby they drop off at the house) Lake does lower in the Winter months, it varies due to precipitation and according to the TVA controls. Water typically begins filling in March in our cove. However this is TVA controlled and we cannot make promises on water levels.

Great hosts who were very responsive and proactive about some issues due to weather the night before our stay. The home was perfect for our family of 9. Beds and bedding were wonderful. Large TV's. Lots of outdoor seating and the view was wonderful. I enjoyed my mornings and evenings on the deck looking out over the lake. We enjoyed having the large dock and being able to bring our kayaks and kayak and float in the lake. Kitchen had all the amenities and was well stocked. I would definitely rent from Katrina and Mike again.
It was private, away from the big city. The walk from the dock is almost impossible unless you’re an athlete. Steep. Recommend a golf cart. Dock needs some repair. We were hoping to relax on the sandy area and swim in the lake but there was no area to do that. If you’re looking for relaxation and to disconnect, this is the place to go. We door dashed some groceries from the nearest Walmart. When we did go to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, it was a 40 minute drive 1 way. For a family with kids (older elementary and above) this probably isn’t a good fit. Not a lot to do in the area. You will find yourself driving a lot. If you have a boat and plan on fishing or just relaxing the whole time- this is great. The house itself is beautiful! 3 stories, plenty of room. Very Spacious. Dog friendly! Loved the outside wraparound porches. And the hot tub was great while watching the sun set and come up!
Had a wonderful stay! The location is very secluded and peaceful. House was clean and spacious. The walk down to the lake/dock is fairly long and steep but worth the walk.
I went with my family and we had the best vacation! Everything was described perfectly! The views were so beautiful and the house was just as beautiful! We will definitely be returning! Thank you for everything!
We had an amazing stay despite it was raining basically the whole time. There was plenty to do with the gaming tables and the hot tub was a favorite for us. The fire place downstairs was so cozy for our gloomy stay! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful! There was plenty of space for us to spread out. Katrina was so kind and responsive, she even checked in on us mid stay to make sure everything was going well! We have stayed in many Airbnbs and this kitchen was the so well stocked with everything you could need! Which we so appreciated because we cook a lot! We all agreed the beds were so comfortable! Really the only down side would be the outside furniture was really dirty but I am sure this is because it was so early in the year that it hadn't been cleaned yet and the drive up was a bit steep but was doable in our mini van! You should absolutely book this stay! We look forward to coming back in the summer months!

This hidden gem is conveniently located approximately 45 minutes from Knoxville, 35 minutes from Pigeon Forge, and 45 minutes from Gatlinburg so you can enjoy the best of both- enjoying a relaxing day on the lake or going into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg for all the fun and attractions they have to offer. Douglas Lake offers 45 square miles of fishing, swimming, and boating paradise, with some of the best bass fishing in the country.
If you choose to bring a boat or jet ski, we recommend using the ramps at Indian creek dock (2 miles) or Shady Grove Boat Launch (10 miles). We have a private dock at our house where the boat can be stored for the entirety of your stay.
We recommend Smoky Mountain H2O Sports (3 miles) or Smokey Mountain Lake Adventures (5 miles) for renting boats or other water equipment. We advise reserving these prior to your stay.
The quaint town of Dandridge offers a grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, shops and historical buildings, just 10 minutes away.
The larger town of Sevierville offers just about anything you can imagine and is the entryway to Pigeon Forge, just ~30 minutes away.
Ample parking, When you're not enjoying the home, the house is close to 40 and Exit407- Sevierville and all the Attractions of the Smokies.

My spouse and I have been traveling together since we met. We love being active and being outdoors, and our favorite thing to do is spend time on the water kayaking, or hiking in nature.
