The town of Castelrotto is among the 20 most beautiful villages in Italy and fits wonderfully into the beautiful natural landscape of the Alpe di Siusi holiday area. In addition to the beautiful historic center, characterized by one of the highest bell towers in South Tyrol, it boasts many shops, restaurants and bars.
Directly above Castelrotto is Alpe Marinzen, the ideal starting point for numerous hiking trails in the Sciliar area, reachable via a beautiful footpath or chairlift located a stone's throw from the house.
A few minutes by car, or by frequent buses, you can reach the cable car that leads to the Alpe di Siusi, the largest plateau in Europe.
