we planned this trip at sudden noment and luckily got the availability at Paul's and Susan's(Paul's wife) homestay. It was worth to stay there and to meet such nice and humble host with great hospitality and friendly nature and great sense of humor. I really enjoyed the stay and the place was neat and clean. Also you will get nearby many good restaurants. Sultan bathery is just around 5-6 kms away from their house, so if you have your own vehicle then you can explore many good and popular restaurants there. I will surely would recommend their homestay if you are looking to stay at peaceful and full of greenery place.

A very beautiful house, with a very neat and nice room with balcony I could stay in. Uncle and aunty where very friendly people who saved me when I was in a bit of trouble with my other accomodation. Aunty’s breakfasts are splendid and I bought some very good quality spices from their garden. I did not do much, because I was quite tired througout the week that I stayed, but I felt at home in their house, so that was very nice. A nice little place to walk around aswel with beautiful views of lush greenery, coffee, banana and coconut plantations and valleys and hills.

My experience with the stay and hosts was fantastic. I booked the place last minute and Paul helped me pick a room according to my liking. The location of the home is prime, near the town yet tucked away amongst lush greenery. Highway, bus stop and market are easily accessible. Being a solo traveller, Paul and Susan went up and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable. Since I wasn't feeing too well on day 2 of my stay, they provided me with delicious home cooked food and drove me around to sight see across the town and forest. They also recommended eating joints, helped me plan my itinerary and dropped me off to a bus station on the day of checkout. I had an awesome stay and experience. Not only is the place itself quite beautiful, the hosts are wonderful human beings. Don't hesitate for a second before booking this gorgeous homestay. Whenever I plan another trip to Wayanad, this will be my goto place. It was an absolute pleasure. Two thumbs up!

Paul have been a very nice and cooperative host. He and his family were very supportive from check-in until checkout. I visited Wayanad along with my wife and we stayed here for 3 days. The property was well kept and had a beautiful plantation view. It is also close to good restaurants as well as tourist spots. The only setback we faced was during booking it was mentioned that breakfast is included however Paul told us it has been discontinued for quite some time now, hence would have been good to update the listing as well in the airbnb website. Apart from that it has been a wonderful stay for us and would recommend others to book a stay here while travelling to Wayanad.

Susan, Paul, and Linu made me feel truly at home. I had food poisoning before arriving at their place, Susan took better care of me than I could myself. She made special food and tea for my upset stomach and I felt much better the next day. I love their house, the garden is like a botanical garden/food forest with many herbs and spices growing at the doorstep. Behind the house, you can walk into the plantation with coffee and many other types of trees. I enjoyed very much lounging in the hammock on the balcony falling asleep with the misty mountain air and bird singing. It's the perfect place to unwind, relax, and rejuvenate in nature. Linu helped me get the rest of my trip booked which saved me a lot of traveling costs. Staying at Paul's place is a lot more than accommodation, it's a comprehensive experience of Indian hospitality from a loving, happy family who also has a wealth of knowledge in the tourism industry and can help you out a lot when needed.
