The grocery system includes a 21% service charge. • Private parking: space for one car or multiple motorbikes The villa: The villa comes with exceptional design by internationally renowned architect, Ernesto Bedmar. You cannot but be mesmerised by its impressive entrance which immediately gives away its vast size – 5.900m2 to be exact. Interesting fact: It also has a micro forest—Bali’s largest and most diverse, with 1.000 trees and 100 species all native to Bali. Location: The villa is located on Cemagi Beach, which is much quieter and less touristic than its neighbouring Canggu. Yet, Cemagi beach is only 6-8 km away from Pererenan and Echo Beach in Canggu. 25M Pool area and huge garden: As you walk through the entrance bridge over the cobblestone pond, you reach a vast grass area next to the main semi-Olympic 25m pool that also has a shallow kids’ pool. The pool invites endless swim sessions—for the more athletic ones—while the pool loungers are too enticing to miss. Four sun loungers face the grass area and another six are located by the pool. Suntanning here is a serious task. Not to forget to mention the shaded bale area by the pool with its living room lounge, perfect for a sunset cocktail or two. The kids can run freely in the ultra-large grass area (before they take a dive into the pool. There is also a kids’ pool perfect for younger kids. The grass area can become the perfect setting for a dinner event or even a wedding. There is also plenty of space for sunrise or sunset yoga sessions. Main two-storey pavilion with 180-degree views of the ocean: The open space two-storey pavilion next to the pool emits an expansive feel. As you enter the pavilion, you will find lounge space and a big dining table, perfect for candle-lit in-home dinners. The Western-style ultra-modern kitchen with its marble island in the middle is to die for. Equipped with all the Western amenities (including a toaster, fridge, oven, microwave, stove, cutlery, and so on) it might awaken your love for cooking…or not! The kitchen also has a bench with chairs for some extra seating. There is also a second kitchen used by the chef and staff for cooking. And on top of that there’s even a butler’s pantry with a Nespresso machine, chill cabinet for wines, water dispenser and fridge. (Nespresso capsules come at an extra cost). The second floor can be reached by an iconic external staircase (to reach the staircase you pass by a pond bursting with water lilies and walk through lush vegetation all the way up) or by a distinctive internal spiral staircase. Once you finally arrive, you cannot help but notice the jaw-dropping view. Here you will find two lounge areas – one being the main one that can comfortably fit 10 people. If you are looking for an area to switch off, relax, and enjoy the sunset with your group of friends, look no further. There is also a guest toilet. Bedrooms Suites: There are 7 bedrooms in total, split between the master villa (3 in the master villa) and the 4 guest villas. Four of them have king-size beds, one has a double bed, and two have twin beds. The twin bedrooms can be converted into double bedrooms. The master villa has 1 king-size master bedroom, 1 double bedroom, and 1 twin bedroom downstairs. The 4 guest villas feature 3 king-size bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. All bedrooms have a private lounge area, safety deposit box, closet space, AC, ceiling fan and en-suite bathroom with hair dryer and toiletries. Most bedrooms also feature day beds and office space, while most en-suite bathrooms have 2 sinks and freestanding bathtubs (in addition to the shower). Interesting fact: All bedrooms have Bluetooth-enabled speakers, so you can listen to your favourite music from your mobile. The bedrooms also feature mini pantries with tea and creamer. The 180m2 Master Villa: The master villa is fully independent and fully equipped with its own private pool, lounge areas, kitchenette and pantry. It is set on three floors. As you enter the ground floor there is the main area of the villa with a cozy living room and lounge space that can be converted into a double bedroom overlooking the pool area. You will find here a kitchenette and a pantry with Nespresso machine, mini fridge and kettle. There is also a bathroom and rain shower outside next to the pool area. Open the glass doors and you will step onto your own private sun deck with 9m pool – yes another pool – with the same great views and expansive feel of ricefields you are used to by now. Suntanning in private here is definitely an option. The crown jewel of this villa is its master bedroom upstairs. Its vast space, multiple private lounge areas, two desk offices, huge king-size bed, TV, and en-suite bathroom with bathtub, shower, and 2 sinks, as well as its private balcony overlooking the pool, will have you at hello! And wait until you watch the sunset with ocean views from the balcony—that is when you will fall head over heels in love with the space! Walk down the stairs, and you will find a 3rd twin bedroom with its own private balcony and garden. This bedroom features lounge space, mini pantry and en-suite bathroom. 4 Spacious Guest Villas: Each guest villa is very generous in size. Three of the guest villas have king-size beds and one twin bed (twin beds can be converted into a double bed). Each villa features a private timbered deck and water feature. There is also private lounge space, a wooden bench with two chairs – also used as office space - , a large daybed that can serve as an extra bed and mini pantry with tea and creamer. As for the en-suite bathroom, expect to find a covered free-standing bathtub, a shower, two sinks and a large closet space.

The villa was exactly what we were looking for. We came as big group and needed a big villa away from the noise of Canggu. This villa offered just that. We particularly loved the huge garden that was very handy for the kids to play around and the big pool. Extra credits go to the staff for the wonderful hospitality. Do order a dinner in-house – the chef cooks very well. I stayed at the villa with the private pool and had the chance to relax and isolate myself when needed from the group. Will definitely be coming back for more! Thank you Anna and team for making us feel like at home!

Cemagi beach area with its many local beach warungs comes alive at sunset. Grab a coconut or Bintang (local beer) and enjoy the ocean view crowned by the setting sun. And if you feel like paying a visit to the trendy restos and famous nightlife of Canggu, they are only 5 minutes away by car or bike. Commuting from Cemagi to Canggu is usually less busy compared to other parts of Bali.
Activities/sightseeing nearby:
• Tanah Lot Temple: Visiting the Tanah Lot Temple in Bali is often considered one of the ‘must dos’ when visiting the island. It’s certainly one of the most unique Hindu temples anywhere in the world, and sits on a rocky outcrop just off the shore accessible only at low tide. The Tanah Lot temple complex is also one of our favourite sunset spots in Bali, although certainly not one for tranquillity as a lot of other visitors in Bali have the same idea!
• Surfing: Bali is the mecca of surfing after all. If you want to catch your first green wave and experience that feeling, let us know and we can arrange a lesson with our partners Surf Is Up Bali. Surf lessons take place at Batu Bolong and Old Man’s Beach, which are 15 minutes by car away from the villa. (The nearby Echo and Pererenan beaches cater more to intermediate / experienced surfers.)
• Bike rides through the ricefields: Cemagi area is perfect for idyllic bike or motorbike rides through the picturesque rice fields of Bali.
• Cemagi village: If you want to learn more about the real Bali away from the tourists, then pay a visit to Cemagi village. The Hindu influence in this village is strongly present in both the daily activities and housing. It is also very likely that you will be able to watch a local Hindu ceremony as they do happen very often throughout the year.
• Explore the nearby black sand beaches from Cemagi all the way to Nyanyi, Kedungu, Yeh Gangga and Pasut beaches. We recommend a bike ride through ricefields before spending some time at Pasut beach (our favourite).
• Nirwana Golf Club: For the golf lovers of all levels, Nirwana Golf Club is a must. Challenge your friends to a golf game, while you can also enjoy the picturesque view.

自我介绍

Hi my name is Anna and I am the owner of Bali Comfy Villas. I am originally from Greece and have been living in Bali since 2013. I love traveling and meeting new people and that’s why I started working in the hospitality sector. I have a background in economics and have worked in consulting for 10 years. My life took a strange twist when I first came to Bali in 2012 and fell in love with the place. I ended up living in the island from 2013 and have never regretted this decision. I am here to make your life easier when deciding to rent a villa. I have a list of villas in Canggu and Seminyak that I love and would 100% recommend. My selection process comes from first-hand experience. This means that I have stayed myself in all the villas I have selected and have nurtured close working relationships with the villa managers and/or owners. Apart from the villas I market, I can also help you get around in Bali. I can provide additional services (that from my experience you most probably need especially if you come in a group) such as pick up/drop off from the airport, car/van with driver for day trips as well as organization of lunches / dinners / barbecues at the villas. I provide these services at no extra charge, with the only aim to facilitate you and save you from a lot of hassle so that you can enjoy your vacation in Bali. COMMITMENT TO CLEANLINESS: All of our villas are committed to Airbnb’s cleaning standards. Safety standards are redefined so that a safe and clean environment is guaranteed for our guests. This consists of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention as well as villa operations. We promise to actively monitor cleaning solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of the guests and staff. THINGS TO DO IN CANGGU: Below a list of our favourite places to eat, go out, enjoy pampering massages or yoga classes and surf lessons in Canggu: Jalan Batu Bolong – main road of Canggu: The majority of restaurants and bars in Jalan (=street) Batu Bolong starts at the cross road where Deus is located: • Deus: Deus is one of the first places to open in Canggu. Concept store including bar, restaurant as well as surf board & clothing store with live music every Sunday • La Baracca: one of the best pizzas in Bali, two restaurants located both in Berawa and Batu Bolong • Crate Café : highly recommended for brunch • Casa Tua Canggu: Indonesian food, nice ambience, mainly for dinner • Warung Bumi: Cheap Indonesian food, mainly for lunch • Monsieur Spoon: French bakery, also nice for brunch • Lacalita Bar: towards the beach of Batu Bolong, Mexican food and music • Old Man’s: bar overlooking Batu Bolong beach with live music every Friday and where you can also eat fast food type food • The Lawn: all day beach bar that also offer dinner. Located between Batu Bolong and Old Man’s beach. Expect Western pricing • Shady Shack: located on the tiny road behind Deus, vegetarian menu, mixture of Indonesian and International cuisine • Veda: value for money organic food, mixture of Indonesian and international cuisine Echo Beach: Do treat yourself to a Gaya ice cream – local ice-cream with interesting flavours made in Ubud. • La Brisa beach bar at Echo beach offers all day long relaxation by the beach, some yummy food and is known for its parties. • For the young at heart, I always suggest a not so lazy Sunday outing that starts with a dinner and continues at Deus that offers live music every Sunday. Jalan Subak Canggu: rice field road that connects Batu Bolong & Berawa Beach: • Pretty poison: alternative bar with skate rump and live music once per week for a younger audience. Also on selected days there is movie projection • Lola’s cantina Mexicana is a must for some tacos and margharitas. Order a cocktail and get a taco for free. Jalan Pantai Berawa: • Atlas: biggest beach club in Southeast Asia opened in July 2022 its doors in Berawa • Finns: by Berawa beach, beach bar restaurant with pool, quite noisy, good if you are in a party mood • Milk & Madu: great pizzas and food in general. An all-day option from breakfast to dinner. Also has playground for kids. • Milu by Nook: best ambience, Western-Indo menu, ‘Tuna Poke Bowl’ is definitely one of the best picks. Very nice place for a romantic dinner that offers value for money food. • Peloton: vegan place nice for brunch and lunch, closed for dinner • Batu Beats: healthy bowls for brunch, lunch and dinner • Hungry Bird: value for money brunch and best coffee in Bali. Hungry Bird is closed every Sunday • Dua Tiga: Looks small on the outside but is huge on the inside. An industrial style restaurant that offers Western, Indo and Vietnamese cuisine. Has also some very yummy smoothie bowls. • Ruko café: near Berawa beach, recommended for brunch • Warung Heboh: Cheap Indonesian food, recommended for lunch • Berawa Kitchen: opposite hungry bird, a grass area surrounded by canteens that sell different types of food to please all tastes from hot dogs to Indonesian food • Satu-Satu Coffee Company: value for money brunch and lunch For massages I would recommend: • Tonic day spa at Echo Beach: best pick for a nice massage. Do check the flamingo garden. • Therapy at Echo Beach – also nail polish available • The massage place at Hotel Kirana at Jalan Batu Bolong • Maria Curau: for massage & vegan nail polish (Jl. Munduk Kedungu No.45, Pererenan) Apart from the above there are plenty of massage places in Canggu, while generally massages are quite cheap. Pricing starts at 150.000 IDR (around 10 euros) for one hour. For surfing: If you are interested in surf lessons we have our own surf school. For more information, please check surfisupbali. We offer private and semi-private lessons. For yoga I would recommend: • Samadi at Jalan Padang Linjong (road that leads to Echo Beach) • The Practice: my very favourite at Jalan Batu Bolong • Desaseni at Jl. Subak Sari No.13. Apart from yoga, Desaseni offers massage, accommodation and food • Serenity at Jl. Nelayan, Canggu Kids activities: • Made’s Warung in Berawa: Best place for kids. There is a large outdoor and indoor playground. The outdoor playground is free of charge, while the indoor playgroup has a minor cost per hour. Food is decent and there is a kids menu. • Parklife: just off Canggu, relatively new place. We love this place for kids, there is both an indoor and outdoor playground. There is an entry fee but price is decent. The place also offers a restaurant with kids menu. • Milk & Madu: Has a kid menu and a small but nice playground for kids • Dua Tiga: Similar to Milk & Madu the place offers a small playground and also has kids menu • Tamora Square: There is a free playground where kids can play. Parents can have lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants there e.g. Ink, while kids can play at the playground. The place also offers a mini skate ramp for kids. • Finns Recreation Club has plenty of activities for kids including a water park, bounce castle & trampolines, bowling, swimming pool, tennis and football court. Please note that it is a bit pricey. Canggu club also organises play groups Play groups are also organised by various kindergardens in Canggu such as the The Garden (Early Learning Centre) and Alam Atelier. Expect Western pricing. Activities such as horse riding, cooking classes, Balinese offering making class etc can be easily organised. Just inbox me and I am more than happy to help.
