Gobblers Roost is perfect for our group! This is the second year in a row where we stayed at Gobblers Roost and we’ll definitely be back. It offers the best getaway to reconnect with loved ones in the privacy of nature. It’s the perfect distance from raystown lake where we like to rent a pontoon for the day. From making s’mores around the campfire, grilling a family dinner, watching the shooting stars, and creating new memories, Gobblers Roost has been nothing but great to us! <3

Beautiful cabin located in a very remote area with plenty of wildlife and very quiet. Very clean kitchen area and clean basement area with a pool table. Tge bathroom was spotless and clean and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Huge deck with a table and chairs with plenty of seating all around the deck. There was a smart tv there and it worked wonderfully. If you are looking for a clean and peaceful getaway this is the place. I will be renting again in the future.

This Cabin was so much more than I expected. It is beautiful and in a very serene location. We arrived after dark and the stars were perfectly visible and set the stage for the rest of the weekend. My family enjoyed the time there. The living room was very big, tons of eating area & seating. Beds were so comfortable. The back deck was so peaceful. Every detail was cared for. The pool table was a fan favorite. We will definitely be back.
