Welcome to The Potters Retreat, a warm inviting space located in the lower level of a beautifully converted stone church in the quaint village of Alton! The entire lower level has been recently updated and features two spacious bedrooms, each with king-sized beds, large windows and one and a half bathrooms. The Potters Retreat offers the best of both worlds; enjoy the tranquility of our small village, while being just a short distance from local attractions. You will find everything you need for a comfortable stay: cozy Turkish cotton bedding, luxuriously soft and plush bath towels, handmade ceramic dishes and mugs for all your meals and coffees, custom locally made body products, included wifi access, a large smart TV for streaming movies and shows. We designed this space for artist retreats, but it is also perfect for couples and families looking for a little getaway The upper level of the church is a private ceramics studio. We run small group classes a few times a year. Should your stay happen at the same time as a class, we will do our best to let you know before booking. Private classes are available on request (subject to availability).
