My family and I had a great stay at Best Bear. We were close (half hour or so) to Manistee and an hour from Traverse City. The Little Manistee Fish Weir is a neat place to check out while you are here. It was the beginning of Fall and the RV kept us warm and cozy. Beds were soft and comfortable and there were PLENTY of blankets and pillows. Carrie and crew were friendly and helpful. Communication with them before and during our stay was top notch. We would definitely stay here again when traveling north!

Our stay was nice, quiet, and cozy! I know some people may be skeptical of staying in a RV, but this one works very well. Well equipped. Our check in was easy. We were able to cook our meals and all the amenities worked. We had a wonderful cozy place to watch TV before getting a great nights sleep. You are not too close to other campsites which was very nice for privacy! Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and would like a outdoorsy stay In Michigan!

Absolutely loved it here! Close to Traverse City and lots to do there. Would definitely recommend. Carrie is absolutely wonderful and goes above and beyond for her guests.
