Bring the whole family/friend group to this charming lake community in Brooklyn’s Irish Hills. The neighborhood sits on a chain of 5 country lakes. While the house isn’t lakefront, it includes lake access via a shared dock (w/2 kayaks) less than a block away! We'll also provide a list of nearby lakes—incl. those w/eateries & boat rentals--as our region has 52 lakes & 4,300 acres of inland public water. We’re mins. away from Michigan International Speedway & 3 wineries. **PLEASE NOTE: EXTRA OCCUPANTS** This space provides easy sleeping arrangements for up to 10 people via 1 upper bunk, 1 lower bunk & 4 queen size beds. If you want to squeeze in an additional 2-3 people, an extra bunk bed or portable cot may be available upon request for $20 per night per person. Please just ask -- if we have another bed available, we'll get it there! If you have special requests, please ask. It's our goal to be helpful and flexible where we can be! =) OTHER ITEMS TO NOTE: *2 of the 4 rooms do not include dressers at this time. However, we’ve added portable clothing racks to 3 of the bedrooms to help with clothing storage while you’re visiting. Suitcases can also be stored under or alongside the beds for easy access. *While you can see the lake from the house, our yard is located approximately one block from the deeded access point (to access, you just walk through an easement that crosses 2 nearby properties). We’ll be happy to show you the way! *You will find wooden steps that lead down to the docks that are shared between a few neighborhood homes. Please feel free to get into the water from this site. The items at the dock do not belong to us, but you are welcome to carry our 2 kayaks down the wooden steps to the water or to cart them to the drive-up lake access point a couple miles away if you have an appropriate vehicle to transport them. Feel free to drop them in at other nearby lakes in the region as well — we only ask you return them safely when finished. Please note: we do not provide bungees or straps, as every vehicle/roof rack is different, so please plan accordingly. Please feel free to ask if you have questions! :)
