When you walk around the neighborhood you will notice a mix of trendy boutiques, cozy cafés and exciting galleries there give the area a modern feeling while retaining its authentic charm. A walk up Grønnegade is a chance to experience some of Copenhagen's most interesting architecture. Many of the buildings are from the 18th century and beautifully kept, providing insight into the history of the city. if you are interested in shopping you will love the many unique boutiques that sell everything from Danish design to vintage clothes. The neighborhood is also the home of some of Copenhagen's best places to eat where you can enjoy everything from gourmet food to traditional Danish meals. For art and culture enthusiasts there are several small galleries and handicraft boutiques where you can find both local and international artists. It is a fantastic place to find something unique to take home as a souvenir.
