Would be five star except for the fact that the water pump for upstairs was broken, and while we were told we needed to manually turn on the pump to make the shower work, we had not realised the same pump also provided water to all the upstairs taps. Had a lovely couple of days in the annex at Coolanowle House. Beautiful big bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved the real fire. Spacious living/dining area with very well stocked kitchen. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Friendly and helpful hosts.

The hosts are very welcoming and on hand when needed. The accommodation is in a great location with plenty of outside space as well as plenty of room inside for the six of us. Everywhere was clean and well presented and provided everything we wanted. The only slightly negative issue was, because of the country location, the internet connection wasn’t always reliable but I would still happily book another holiday at Coolanowle.
