The place was clean and spacious, BUT there were some basic amenities missing for the money we paid. The kitchen did not have enough cutlery/crockery for the number of people who booked. There were only 4x sets of everything 7 people. Richard said he would resolve this didn’t happen and we ended up eating out on the second night. There was issues with the washing machine. The error message suggested that it hasn’t been plumbed in properly. I flagged this to Richard and he responded:“is there any chance you can book somewhere else and I’ll refund.” At 645pm on a Good Friday - with my pregnant sister in law, a 1 year old in bed and a 5 year old in pyjamas - that really wasn’t an option. If the issues were handled differently, or resolved as promised then we’d have overlooked. We asked for a £70 refund - £10 per person to go towards the meal out. Richard’s response to this, again made it a bigger issue than it should otherwise have been.
