Cute, cozy, comfortable. Very nicely appointed. We wanted to love this place, but there were a few problems for us (that might not matter to some people). We knew we'd have to carry luggage up a flight of stairs to get to the loft, but the stairs are a bit scary--open grate with no back. We worried about noise from the coffee shop below, but that was not an issue. However, traffic noise, including ambulances and airplanes at close proximity, was much worse than expected at all hours of day and night. Morning sun is nice, but both the bedroom and living room could be improved with room darkening shades. Taking out the trash sounded simple enough, but it was not clear where to find the dumpster. I walked all around the block with a bag of trash before finding it and then had to step in mud to get to it. I'm really torn about rating this place, because it has a lot of good things going for it, and I think the hosts are good, but sadly, we probably won't return.
