Located in Charleston right on the Ashley River salt marshes, this 3B/2.5b offers all the comforts of home paired with a stunning location. Relax on one of the two elevated patios facing the marshes, visit one of the most beautiful historic plantations (5-10 min drive), go for a stroll or shopping trip to downtown Charleston (15 min drive), or enjoy a peaceful evening by the fire pit or inside with our 2 cats. For some beach time, Folly Beach is a short drive away (25 min drive). Welcome to our family home overlooking the Charleston salt marshes! The living room located on the second floor of our stilt house is spacious with an open floor plan. It includes a dining set, comfortable couches, chairs, a piano, a large flat-screen QLED TV, a sound system, and a Nintendo switch. Board games and lots of books which guests are welcome to read during their stay. The elevated patio provides a separate dining set perfect for a lovely dining after a day out and about or to relax during the day. The third floor includes a master bedroom on the third floor has a king-size bed with new memory foam mattress and its own bathroom (shower) and toilet. The master bedroom has its own patio facing south, with stunning view on the marshes. It also includes a second bedroom is a children bedroom with one single twin bed, its own bathroom (bathtub), and lots of toys. The third bedroom has a queen bed and an office desk. There is another work station located in the mud room on the first floor, and some work-out accessories such as yoga mats and dumbbells. All beds are new and very comfortable. There is a modern, fully renovated kitchen that is fully stocked with dishes, appliances to enjoy meals made at home, and a kitchen bar. The first floor also includes a powder room as well as a laundry room with energy-efficient washer and dryer. The two patios and the outdoor space include outdoor chaise lounge seating for you to enjoy golden hour and sunsets, in the company of the house cats, Violette (tabby) and Olivia (black and white). The quiet yard is luxurious and includes fruit trees and native plants (lots of butterflies!). It is very offers beautiful views of the marshes as well as old pine trees boarding the Ashley River. It is the home of over 25 different species of birds, including cardinals, woodpeckers, finches, blue jays, painted buntings, and hawks. Children gear and the like (pack and play, ...) available upon request. Please note that our lovely cats, Olivia and Violette, live in the house and will be your vacation pet during your stay. Note that the house is elevated so guests should be able and comfortable with stairs. Also, note that there are two outdoors security cameras (front door and second floor patio) and a Google assistant which can be unplugged if you prefer.
