Welcome to our studio! Located at the north end of San Juan del Sur bay, just a few minutes from the beach, you are the perfect distance from just about everywhere. Stay at home and relax in one of the biggest pools in the area or wander down the beach at sunset to see what's happening in town. Whatever you choose to do, you'll be glad you decided to stay here. Talanguera Townhomes features some of the best architecture to be found in San Juan del Sur and the most common first response to our garden and pool areas is "wow". The studio apartment itself comes fully equipped with bath and pool towels and everything you need to prepare a romantic dinner for two.

A great place to stay and relatively close to SJDS restaurants and stores. Close proximity to the ocean. This was our third time staying here and hope to return again! Thanks Franklin for being a good host. We appreciated having the drinking water and shower products!
from booking to checkout my experience was phenomenal. Easy and clear communication with the host. Check in was easy, and they even arranged transportation from the airport. The locations was perfect and peaceful, exactly what I was looking for. The local town was a beautiful short walk along the beach, and there were a few delicious restaurants within 5 min walk of the airbnb. 10/10 would stay here again !

The best thing about our neighbourhood is that it is located in that "goldilocks zone" where it's not too far to walk to town and just far enough that you can get away from the hustle and bustle of town. Also, the road up to the best view in town, the large statue of Jesus (Jesus de Misericordia), starts right at the end of our street.
Our neighbourhood, Barrio la Talanguera, is one of the most safe and secure in SJDS. The people who live here are friendly and there are plenty of street lights to light your way home.
Being this close to town, it isn't necessary to rent a car or 4x4 but street parking is readily available if needed. A note to guests: you should be aware that many of the properties listed as being in San Juan del Sur are actually located farther out of town on poorly maintained dirt roads that require vehicle rental or dependance on taxi's and shuttle services for transportation. Always make sure to clarify your transportation options before renting. The added costs and risks of a rental car can add up quickly.

Anne and I (Paul) are most recently from Vancouver, Canada and have been avid travellers for the past 25 years. It was during a trip to Honduras in 2005 that we first started thinking about owning vacation property ourselves and our home in San Juan del Sur is the happy culmination of those plans. We have since expanded our rental business to include several other properties in the San Juan del Sur area. We approach all our properties with the same goal: to pair adventurous people with amazing places to stay.
