1) Host is slow to respond 2) The apartment is not ready to live in. It is incredibly dirty. Pee on toilet seat. Mold everywhere. Trash on the balcony. Smell. It was so terrible, we left the unit ASAP and started looking for another Airbnb at a nearby restaurant. Luckily, we were able to find something else and immediately cancelled & checked out. It was absolutely disgusting. I do not know why the host thought it was OK to have people live here. 3) We ended up sending documentation of how bad this unit was to Airbnb and they agreed and gave us a refund. 4) Host then tried to retaliate by making up bogus "damage" charges, because they were upset that we cancelled and reported them, with proof, to Airbnb. I usually do not leave reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others. I also fear the host will try to retaliate again by leaving me a bad review. I wanted to deal with this between support and the host, but the host has shown a lack of accountability.
