The location offers beautiful views and a serene atmosphere. One of the highlights was having access to kayaks and floats, which made for some fun and relaxing times on the water. The outdoor spaces are lovely. The deck and patio are perfect for dining and lounging, with plenty of seating and a great view of the lake. It was nice to enjoy morning coffee in such a picturesque setting. The rooms, while cozy, are on the smaller side. It wasn't a big issue for us, but it's something to keep in mind if you prefer more spacious accommodations. Additionally, the shower can be a bit tricky to get in and out of for a larger/taller person. That being said, there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There are additional beds in the Bunkie, a separate building that we did not use, it seems like it would be perfect to accommodate a large family. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for a lake getaway in a beautiful setting!

This was a lovely get away from the city. Right on the lake with water activities included. There was a very cute welcome basket. Nice space to bring friends & family. Dog friendly. Enjoyed the amenities available. ☺️ neighbours were friendly. Good for a summer get away.

We had a great time at the Kanata house! The view was gorgeous, the cottage itself is very practical, quaint and cozy all at the same time. The only hurdle we encountered was bringing our garbage to a local landfill, as they would not accept it without an air bnb renters card or local permit, so we ended up driving it back to the city. Aside from that, it was a fantastic place to get away for the weekend! Our host was super friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Definitely recommend this place!
