We enjoyed our stay! The apartment was clean, matched the description, and was accurately portrayed in the photos in the listing. We mainly used it for sleeping after a day exploring Galveston, but wished we had more time to enjoy the room, so will be back. The beds and pillows were comfortable, AC was cool, shower was warm, and the kitchen well appointed. Everything you need to relax after a day at the beach or bumming around town. The apartment is located in an old (if not historic, then definitely historic-adjacent) apartment building. It has beautiful hardwood floors and door, stained glass sconces, and frosted transom windows. The floors were creaky, but as expected with a building it's age. We do enjoy seeing and staying in old repurposed buildings like this one. Much more character than many new builds. Will note that one bed was a bit squeaky when switching sides during the night. Didn't bother us, but could wake a light sleeper.

We loved this place so much, it instantly felt like home. It was very walkable to a lot of great things in Galveston.

Pros: loved the space. The house was equipped with the necessities. Cons: trying to find parking in a busy street with kids is not fun! Also walking up the stairs to the 3rd floor with diaper bag, purse, and luggage is also not fun. Finally the washer/dryer did not work I did communicate it to the owner but even after the service team came out it still kept giving a code. We ended our trip the night before our checkout due to family emergency but all in all we enjoyed our trip to Galveston. I probably won’t be booking here again with kids but definitely would on a couples trip.
