This was fabulous find and we were thrilled with the few days we stayed at Crystal’s. It is a well restored and gorgeously appointed, spotless older home with authentic furnishings and many common rooms. Where you want modern such as bedroom and bathroom, Crystal has added comfort and convenience with large shower, super comfy bed, and bedroom amenities for that early coffee or late afternoon glass of wine. Spacious bedroom and great lighting with two night stands. Breakfast was quite extensive with bakery items, yoghurt, fruit, toast, cereal, nutrition bars, and coffee/tea freshly made for us every morning. Crystal was very responsive, friendly, and gave us some wonderful recommendations and history of the home. While the house is on a packed gravel road, it is just off a larger paved road. Grab this stunning and gorgeous listing if you are in the area. It’s a pleasant, easy drive to Trinity and Bonavista. Truly we would have paid much more for this rental!

This was a perfect stay during my drive through the area, steps from Skerwink Trail and the local brewery. I loved the vintage decorating of this home and it’s cozy atmosphere in the woods!

The house has a character and hosts are doing a great job in keeping the character alive even after doing some upgrades. Absolutely loved my stay!!!

Crystal's place is great in general, you can use shared kitchen, living room, and a private bathroom is across the hallway. Crystal and Alicia are very responsive, even in the midnight when we were not familiar with the fog horn and confused about / annoyed by the recurring sounds. Although we can smell something in the bedroom and bathroom, probably oil paint because of recent renovations.

Clean, comfortable and charming! This historic home has a ton of old character but with modern upgrades! Crystal and Alicia were very responsive from the booking process and right through our stay. The directions were clear and easy to follow which made finding the place and checking in a breeze. Our room was spacious and suited our needs. It was equipped with our own fridge, coffee maker, TV and a private bathroom. We had access to the common spaces in the house, which included a living room with lots of seating, two dining rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and the cutest little sunroom! Waiting outside my door at the time I requested was a breakfast tray with delicious homemade baked goods, cheese, yogurt, fruits and some of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted! Will definitely be making a trip back!
