Beach House Kahakai is our brand new bungalow located only minutes from the beach, tulip fields and our local lake. Kahakai is Hawaiian and means beach and seashore. A name that matches perfectly with the surrounding area! Our mission is to let you fully enjoy your holiday and provide everything you need during your stay. Our brand new bungalow offers a cozy living room, 2 comfortable bedrooms, a fully renovated kitchen and bathroom, a private garden and a unique outdoor garden kitchen! * We do not accept groups with the age younger than 21 Beach House Kahakai Kahakai is situated at the most ideal location. The beach, dunes, flower fields, Keukenhof, our local lake Oosterduinsemeer (Eastern Dune Lake) and many cycling trails offer more than you could wish for. And via the nearby train station in Sassenheim (including free parking) you can explore the rest of the country and easily visit cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague or Leiden. This means brand new furniture, beds, kitchen, bathroom, and many more. - We decorated the bungalow in a cozy style that matches the surrounding area. For example, we have chosen a “green forest” master bedroom and a “catch the morning surf” family room. - Free parking. - Spacious, private garden (both sunny and shade) located directly next to the quiet forest area. The garden includes furniture, an umbrella, and hammocks. We also have a garden shed with a lock and storing capacity for bikes. - Garden kitchen with all tools necessary to cook and enjoy your dinner outside! - Close to the bungalow there is a large playing field for the kids. - Smart TV with over 300+ channels. - Bluetooth speaker and Chromecast to stream music or movies from your own device. - Fast and stable private free WIFI connection. - Private central heating system. - Dishwasher. - Blender to start your day with a fresh and healthy smoothie. - Laundry couple minutes away. - For your convenience the beds are fully prepared including clean bed sheets, pillows and blankets, like is shown on the pictures. - In the garden shed outside you can find a baby travel cot with mattress and a baby chair. If you want to use the baby bed this is free of charge. For the baby bed you need to bring your own bed sheets, pillow and blankets. What is the story behind our bedroom themes? Master Bedroom - The 'Green Forest' master bedroom is designed with the purpose of letting you wake up in a positive mood. Green is a color that reminds us of nature. Did you know that a recent survey showed that people sleeping in green bedrooms wake up feeling positive and full of energy? Well, it is worth trying yourself! The large double master bed (180 cm / 70 inches x 200 cm / 80 inches) will help you relax even more. Family Bedroom - What do surfers dream of when they wake up? To 'Catch the Morning Surf' of course! As we are very close to the beach this is the theme we have chosen for our Family Bedroom. To complete the surf & beach experience the wall is painted in blue morning fog, like shades of the sea and the sky. Blue stands for trust and is meant to reduce stress, create calmness and to relax. To offer flexibility depending on your situation the Family Bedroom facilitates two single beds or one double bed if you combine them together.
