we booked an airbnb to have family in town to support event I was hosting. We dont get to see each other often so having family here was amazing and great to see. We had just hope we were able to get together at the airbnb. As a future airbnb host my wife and I understand the struggles of people on vacation. We are excited and motivated to be a host and prepare our vacation house to let those enjoy it. As its hard to enjoy vacation now theses days. Poliana was very nice at first but i didnt appreciate her saying there was a stove inside the house and only 4 ppl can be there at all times. So we could not do a small gathering and when i had to shower to get ready for my show i had to make sure someone was out the house so i could go in. The reason we didnt cancel is cause i forgot the date to get full refund as we found another airbnb in charlotte but lost time. We learned a lot from this experience and will know for next time. Have to find owners who understand vacation homes!

This is the first experience I had with the Airbnb. It was nice. The location was great a nice neighborhood quiet the Airbnb was nice. The set up was good. It was clean nothing out of place and it made us feel like we was at home and we will be back soon thank you.

The Airbnb was clean and tidy when we arrived. To note, the door will attempt to lock itself every 30 seconds -- make sure you have your code memorized or you'll get locked out. Prop the door open or the lock could ding the doorframe. The living room TV wasn't hooked up to anything and therefore was unusable. The kitchen was cute, quaint -- the dishwasher will come out from under the counter if you aren't careful. The bedrooms were tight but the beds were quite comfy. Theres only one outlet in both rooms, so bring a power strip. The neighborhood isn't the safest, and I observed a few drug deals during our stay. Don't go alone. The walls are thin, and you'll hear the neighbors clearly. The gravel driveway is slippery and the entrance is small to get into it, but Poliana warns you of this. Overall not a horrible stay, but not the safest.

Just an over night stay bc we were out of town for a concert. From the beginning Poliana was super responsive and offered suggestions to my questions about location. The place is conveniently close to downtown. The house is cute, quaint, clean and comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. Will definitely try to book again next time we come up to the area.
