This place shares a driveway with German Shepherd Breeders so expect NOISE from multiple barking dogs! The listing states you'll find peace in nature, but I found that impossible with being so close and all the barking. I tried to sit outside at 7:30am, but enjoyed none of it because of the dogs. I received an e-mail disclosing the breeders 2 days before my stay. It stated, "the dogs will make noise every so often; however, it is infrequent and non-disruptive, and that they never hear them when they're in the cabin." This information should be in the listing, not an e-mail prior to my arrival, after I paid in full and now no time to book elsewhere. I didn't stay there to spend my time in the cabin, but unfortunately that's where I spent most of it. Extremely disappointed with my stay, and the tension it caused between my sister and I. I would have paid more to actually be in a peaceful setting (like the listing promotes) so I could decompress and enjoy my vacation like I had planned.
Really enjoyed and was very pleased with my stay. Only was there one night but definitely will be returning. Beautiful and relaxing accommodations.
