This place is a must rent!!!! The home is very clean, modern, stylish, comfy, great beds & fantastic views! You will not regret staying here. A car is a must if you want to explore the island on your own time and there is a private parking spot just for you. Giorgos father met us when we arrived and showed us around and gave us the keys. Giorgos provided fresh fruit, water, juice and a bottle of wine which is all a nice surprise to come too!!! There’s a little bit of construction on the little street, but very easy to get around in a car and it will be a spectacular neighborhood once complete. Again this home is a must to stay in and thank you again Giorgos for a beautiful place to stay!!

Based on the stellar reviews and photos (and especially the cost), I expected a fairly luxury stay. Unfortunately, this was not our experience at Giorgio's. I would not recommend this stay. The negative: * Check in was extremely painful. The house address you are given takes you to the neighborhood, not the stay. Giorgio was not helpful (unresponsive when we asked for help) * Host was unresponsive when I asked where we could put trash over our 9-day stay. * It's not pictured, but the second bedroom is very subpar * Home is falling apart (rock is crumbling off the walls) * Not given enough toilet paper or towels for our 9 day stay, no beach towels provided * The walls are extremely thin to the neighboring unit. Next door guests sounded as if they were inside with us. * Home is not secure (vulnerable to break-ins) * Upstairs bedroom has no privacy * Doors in the entire stay do not close properly The positive: Home as pictured, pretty views. Giorgos’s place was very peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. Very close to great restaurants and within walking distance to the town center.

Giorgos’s place was in a very beautiful part of Chania. It is right on the water, very peaceful in an up and coming precinct, with restaurants 1 min walk away. It’s a 20 min walk to the old town with beaches along the way. Everything was beautifully presented, the off-street parking is great. If you are going to hire a car, be mindful the nearby roads are very narrow and currently under renovation. Was an amazing place to stay, our Apple Maps didn’t find the location but g-maps did.

Giorgos was very kind and met us at the villa for check in. On a calm day, the water is very clear. We went snorkeling and saw beautiful fish. The villa is walkable to Old Town Chania, and there is a parking place for your rental car. It was nice to have a place to do some laundry on a long trip through Greece. Giorgos also gave us some nice recommendations for food and activities on the west side of Crete. We enjoyed our stay in Chania. Thank you!
